Z-bar
Production site of Z-bar 310 Z-beam is mainly used for manufacturing center sill of railway cargo train. The center sill is one of critical parts for railway cargo train and bears the weight of cargo train and goods. Meanwhile center sill is also the draft sill of railway cargo and bears great traction effect. High-strength weather-resistant 310 Z-beam produced by Pangang is characterized by high strength grade and dimension control accuracy and good weldability. With the capability of 500,000t high-strength weather resistant 310 Z-beam per year, Pangang was the earliest to develop and produce high-strength and weather resistant Z-beam for railway vehicle with completely independent intellectual property right. Its specification series covers all kind of vehicles for manufacturing railway cargo train.
Axle steel
Pangang uses continuous casting process to produce railway vehicle axle steel, which includes LZ50 and JZ35. Now LZ50 axle billet already passed the certification of Ministry of Railways and realized mass production of exported JZ35 axle billet. The axle billet produced by continuous casting process has good surface quality, can realize full (multiple)cut-to-length delivery and has high flaw detection eligibility rate, less machining allowance and high comprehensive yield and so on.
Weather-resistant steel
A double decker car atmospheric corrosion resistant steel for railway vehicle, i.e. weather-resistant steel is low-alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel and mainly used in railway, vehicle, bridge, tower and other steel structure with long-term exposure in atmosphere. For weather-resistant steel production, Pangang has two lines--------1450mm tandem hot mill in Panzhihua and 2050mm tandem hot mill in Xichang. The weather-resistant steel is characterized by toughness, plastic elongation, formability, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and fatigue resistance same as good-quality steel. Its weather resistance is 2-8 times than that of ordinary steel and its coating performance is 1.5-10 times than that of ordinary steel.
