On January 25, 2017, Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation completed the industrial and commercial registration of changes for reforming company’s system and was officially changed to Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.

Located in Anshan, Liaoning province, Anshan Iron and Steel Production Base has about 24 square kilometers of main plant area, neighboring Zhongchang Railway on its east, Shenyang-Dalian Expressway on its west, An-Qian Xilu on its south and Shahe River on its north.Now Anshan Iron and Steel has grown into a large-sized iron and steel group with the complete production system from iron-making, steelmaking to rolling as well as the auxiliary units, such as coking, refractory, utility, transportation, technical research and development. It has a complete series of steel products including the hot- and cold-rolled coil and sheet, galvanized sheet, color coated sheet, cold-rolled silicon steel, heavy rail, seamless pipe and tube, section steel and building steel. Its main production process and technical equipment have reached international-advanced level. Anshan Iron and Steel has the production capability of 25 million tons of pig iron, raw steel and rolled steel respectively. Now it has the following production bases: Anshan Headquarters, Bayuquan New Zone and Chaoyang Iron and Steel and other bases.
