Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation Limited successively received the contract from Morocco, Saudi Arabia to supply steel plate for pipeline project with heavy specification. Such products are mainly used for manufacturing longitudinal seam submerged arc welded pipe with the diameter of 1422mm in higher quality standard than the same products in China. At present, it is the steel for long-distance transmission pipeline with the largest diameter. Pansteel Group overcame adverse factors affecting production and organized well to fulfill the contract of over 20,000 tons of X80 steel with good quality on schedule, providing high-quality raw materials for the construction of China-Russia East Line Key Project in time.
Through giving full play to the advantages of more overseas distribution and wider customer channels, Ansteel Group actively participated in the bidding of overseas pipeline projects, attached importance to supplying for the pipeline projects of countries along the “Belt and Road” and concentrated manpower and material resources to carry out producy development.
Faced with many technical and production difficulties of exporting heavy plate for pipeline, Ansteel Group started with technical innovation and process refining control and has tackled critical problems including performance control and too high deformation resistance. It strengthened the refining control of full production flow process to effectively improve the stability of product performance, providing a strong support to efficient and stable production. Besides heavy plate for pipeline, Ansteel Group has developed and produced high-end steel rail products with various materials and specifications. It has made domestic railway transportation more stable and faster. And through excellent quality, the most advanced technologies and best marketing service and most feasible logistics transportation solution, it also won all the contracts to supply rails for Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway Project, the landmark project of the “Belt and Road”. With the gross weight of 38,000 tons, the contract has become the “first order” to exclusively export the overall China’s high-speed railway.
