On January 30, the Board of Directors of Ansteel Group International Trade Corporation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ITC) held an interim meeting through videophone and approved the proposal of its wholly-owned subsidiary --- Ansteel Group Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Japan Company) to donate medical supplies and support our country to fight against the epidemic of COVID-19 pneumonia.

Japan Company is one of more than ten overseas companies of ITC. After the outbreak of novel coronavirus epidemic, the company cared about China and quickly started the epidemic prevention and control. Meanwhile in response to theProposal on the Action of Supporting the Motherland to Fight Against the Novel Coronavirus by China Enterprises Association in Japan, on January 30, Japan Company asked International Trade Company if it could donate 200,000-300,000 Japanese Yen of supplies to support China for the prevention and control ofCOVID-19. After receiving this request, ITC quickly held a meeting of Party Committee and the Board of Directors through videophone, in which the request of Japan Company got deliberated and approved.

It’s reported that Japan Company purchased 200,000-300,000 Japanese Yen of medical masks, protective suits and goggles etc. in Japan and sent them to China Enterprises Association in Japan. And then the association made an arrangement to transport all the donated supplies to the cities and hospitals designated by China.
