Recently, new CCM1 with the most advanced level in the current world was officially put into operation in Steel Making Plant No.3 of General Steel Making Plant under Angang Steel Co., Ltd..  As of October 30, it has continuously produced 251 heats, 50674t liquid steel without accident. The quality feedback after rolling showed that the slab had good surface quality. This created a new record for revamping thick slab at home and abroad with good quality, short time schedule and putting into operation, simultaneously reaching the design capacity.
