Plenty of vanadium-bearing steel bars from Pangang are used in the Yuxi-Boten Section of China-Laos railways project. Since October, the consumption of vanadium-bearing steel bar per month has been increased from 3000t to about 4000t in the project. Besides China-Laos Railways, the vanadium-bearing steel bars are also used in Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Crane Beach Hydropower Station, Chuda Expressway and other construction projects.
