Recently, a piece of news came from Ansteel Group Automobile Steel Marketing (Service) Center that due to the hard work and close cooperation between many departments, many product grades from Angang Steel Co., Ltd. passed the global certification of Fiat Chrysler Automobile Group (hereinafter referred to as FCA Group) and Ansteel has officially become the supplier of GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC FCA) after passing the global certification of Honda last year. This means that the “market” of Ansteel Automobile Steel Co., Ltd. has further extended and it has a great significance for Ansteel to improve the market share of automobile steel and the influence of brand.
Established in 2010, GAC FCA was jointly invested and established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and FCA Group. The general design capacity reaches 328,000 vehicles. As a joint-ventured automobile manufacturer, it is dominated by mid- and high-end products and known for personalization. It has three Jeep brands of domestically made model, i.e. Cherokee, New Renegade and New Compass.
In December 2014, Ansteel Group Automobile Steel Marketing (Service) Center started global certification of FCA Group, organized Product Development Department, Product Manufacturing Department, Quality Inspection Center, Cold-rolled Mill, Ansteel Group Iron and Steel Research Institute and relevant departments and companies to carry out certification. Concerning on the personalization requirement of certification products for FCA Group, Ansteel carried out process adjustment, trial manufacturing and inspection many times for certification products and followed the requirements of FCA Group to provide product certification data and physical sample plate and implemented coating and welding tests and finally completely passed the global certification of FCA group this April. Since then, the cooperation between Ansteel and GAC FCA has driven to the “fast lane”. Ansteel also realized full coverage of all brands under GAC Group.
Aiming at the full coverage of domestic well-known brands, Ansteel Group Automobile Steel Marketing (Service) Center has been sticking to walking on two legs of “steadily increasing shares of old customers and continuously developing new customers” and greatly promoting product certification. For this certification, Ansteel Group Automobile Steel Marketing (Service) Center took the initiative to coordinate relevant departments for working and cooperation together, broke through the one-to-more connection way with the customers and realized face-to-face accurate connection corresponding to each functional department, thus greatly improved the recognition ability and certification efficiency of Ansteel Automobile Steel to the customers and laid a strong foundation for Ansteel to accelerate automobile steel certification and improve service ability for customers.
