    Over the years, home appliance industry has a rapid development. The face plate and back plate of some high-end electrical appliance adopt color coated plate or galvanized plate. With the increasingly tough competition, the category of home appliance is becoming more and more diversified. In order to meet the requirement of customers for high-end home appliance plate, it is the principal subject to develop a cold-rolled electro-galvanizing parent plate with much better formability and surface quality.

    The technicians from the Product Development Department, Marketing Center and Cold-rolled Mill of Angang Steel Co., Ltd. exchanged with many home appliance electro-galvanizing production plants and learned about their demands to the surface quality of parent plate and the requirement of their downstream home appliance customers, thus determined the development trend of the product. The technicians carried out statistics analysis for the composition and process of electro-galvanizing parent plate and the performance and surface quality of finished products as well as adjustment test of batch process and then designed a new production process and developed a brand-new steel SCD2 product with the formability and surface quality better than that of existing electro-galvanizing parent plate of Ansteel.

    At the end of 2013, a customer ordered 60t SCD2 for trial for the first time and was satisfied with all the technical indexes. And then the customer ordered such product regularly each month. At present, he has ordered more than 1000t in total. In May this year, Ansteel successively cooperates with some other electro-galvanized production plants for trial. SCD2 is becoming more and more mature.

    With the increasing customers and orders, Ansteel is making close concern about the utilization information of customers and product quality so as to make process adjustment and improvement according to the customized requirements of customers and finally make more products of Ansteel highlight in home appliance products.
