On September 23, a piece of news from Wire Rod Plant of Angang Steel Co., Ltd. said that 3000t SWRH82BCr high-strength pre-stressting steel strand steel independently developed and produced by the plant has been delivered to the customer in Columbia. This filled the gap for Ansteel to export high-strength and high-chromium pre-stressing steel strand steel.

    It’s said that the plant accepted the contract of a Columbia customer this August. The customer needed SWRH82BCr high-strength pre-stressing steel strand steel with the specification of 11.0mm. According to the requirement of the customer, the tensile strength for the product should reach up to 1210MPa. Therefore, the plant organized development discussions many times and designed five processes. Through many tests, the optimal process was finally determined, which not only ensures the mechanical property of the product, but also meet the requirements of drawing production for the customer.
