From October 31 to November 1, the International Technical Exchange Conference on High-performance Weather-resistant Bridge Steel and Application was held in Dalian, which was hosted by Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation and sponsored by CITIC-CBMM, Sino-US HTECC, Bridge Steel Structure Branch of China Steel Construction Society and CBMM.

    It’s said that weather-resistant bridge steel is an important development trend of high-performance bridge steel. Therefore, it has been widely used both at home and abroad for a long time. With the development of building energy-saving and environment-friendly society in China, green and ecological concept as well as safety and durability for manufacturing bridge has become the main attraction of industry. Domestic bridge designers have began to concern the application of weather-resistant bridge steel in manufacturing bridge. The conference is to build an exchange platform for the development, design and manufacturing industry of high-performance weather-resistant bridge steel, promote the development for the design and manufacturing technology of weather-resistant steel and bridge and meet the requirement of flourishing development of bridge engineering construction in China.
