The 8th International Exhibition of Invention has just concluded, in which 45 invention achievements made by the employees from Ansteel Group, including 13 golden prizes, 17 silver prizes, 14 bronze prizes and also two “Excellent Innovation Prizes” by International Association of Intellectual Property Right Exchange. This is the best achievement since participation in the exhibition. In addition, Ansteel Group won the excellent pavilion prize.

    Through strict review of expert team, 13 achievements made by Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation including the “development and application of heavy rail ultrasonic detecting combined probe follow-up device for high-speed railway” won the golden prize, 17 achievements made by Pansteel including “a flue gas desulphurizing agent and flue gas desulphurizing method” won the silver prize; 14 achievements made by Ansteel Engineering Technology Development Co., Ltd. including “a method and device for manufacturing powder by melting steelmaking tail slag ” won bronze prize. Two achievements made by Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation won the “Excellent Innovation Prizes” by International Association of Intellectual Property Right Exchange, i.e. “the development and application of production technology for low-cost clean steel” and “a method for relieving WR calibration mark of rolling mill ”.

    In order to fully publicize corporation image and show the innovation achievement of the employees in the exhibition, all the Labor Unions at each level of Ansteel Group, Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation and Pansteel gave high priority to the exhibition, made close consultation with related business departments, invited the experts inside the industry to give instructions to the innovation achievements of the employees. After recommendation made level by level and choosing the best from the best, 62 employee’s invention achievements were selected to participate in the exhibition. Finally, 45 achievements won the prizes.
