A piece of good news came from National Scientific and Technological Award Conference. The project of “Critical Technology and Application of Coordinating Mining and Risk Prevention and Control Under Open-air Pit of Large-scale Iron Mine” hosted by Ansteel Group won the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress. The “Innovative Development and Application of 600℃ Ultra-supercritical Thermal Power Unit Steel Pipe” participated by Ansteel won the first prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress.

    It’s said that this is another time for Ansteel to win the award of National Scientific and Technological Achievement after many independently developing projects, for example “1700mm Medium and Thin Slab Continuous Casting and Directly Rolling (ASP) Production Process Technology”, the “Research and Industrial Application of New Process, New Agent and New Equipment for Lean Hematite (Magnetite) Beneficiation ”, “Domestically Independent Integration and Innovation of Process and Equipment for Ansteel 1780mm Cold Strip Rolling Line”, the “Innovation and Integration of Manufacturing Technology for High-performance Shipbuilding Steel” and “R&D and Application of Automatic Emulsion Purging Device for Cold-rolled Mill in Separate Section”.
