In 2014, it was the first time for Pansteel to produce more than 1.3 million tons of heavy rails, which makes Ansteel realize another historical leap and continue to keep the position of domestic largest rail production base. In order to meet the technical requirement of domestic railway, Pansteel has realized “four-step leap” in heavy rail output since 2011, from 770,000 tons to 1.32 million tons.

    Pansteel relies on the technical advantages accumulated by independent innovation, puts forth efforts to provide complete solutions of railway steel products and devotes itself to building “world top rail brand”. In recent years, Pansteel has been keeping the first position of export scale in China. In 2014, 211,000 tons of heavy rail were exported, with year-on-year growth of more than 264%.

    In 2014, Pansteel strengthened the norm management of output for each shift, improved effective operating rate of rolling mill, and took other measures to tackle the problem of rail output to maximize the rail production capacity by means of existing equipment, which accelerates the improvement of heavy rail output. Meanwhile, Pansteel launched the capacity expansion, upgrading and revamping project of 950 rail production line to further expand the rail production scale and optimize rail product structure.
