Recently, 1780 production line in Hot Strip Mill of Angang Steel Co. Ltd first successfully produced ultrathin and wide low-alloy automobile steel with the thickness of 2.0mm and the width of 1500mm in batch.

    After further processing, this kind of low-alloy steel is mainly used in automobile key parts such column, inner wall of shock absorbers and etc. Therefore, there are higher requirements on coil surface quality and the other performances. Duringthe production, the Hot Rolling Mill attempted to control temperature rise by optimizing the heating system, stabilize rolling rhythm by optimizing high speed threading system, successfully produced high value-added limit steel specification in batch with acceptable technical index.
