Shortly before, Angang Steel Co. Ltd. won the bidding exclusively on overall contracts of steel box girder steel used on Maputo-Katengbei Straits bridge in Mozambique, which is another order following the contract of main bridge steel box girder steel of Wuhu Yangtze River Highway Bridge .

    Maputo is the largest port in Mozambique, one of the busiest ports in Africa with the annual throughput of about 10 million tons, and is one of the main economic resources in Mozambique. Requested amount of steel used on main bridge of Maputo-KaTengbei Strait Bridge is about 8000tons. This project is undertaken exclusively by Shanghai Zhenhua Company. Due to strong brand, high quality and good supplier performance, Ansteel won the bidding exclusively. At present Ansteel Heavy Plate Mill is organizing the production according to the delivery time.
