Recently, Bayuquan Branch Company of Angang Steel Co., Ltd. was the first time to successfully produce the hot-rolled strip of Cr-V alloyed tool steel with 12mm thick by cooperating with Ansteel Group Iron and Steel Research Institute, the Product Development Department of Angang Steel Co., Ltd. and other departments. After inspection, the composition and performance of this steel grade completely fulfill the requirements of technical agreement for supply. The successful development of the product breaks through the thickness limit of alloyed tool steel in 1580mm Hot-rolled line of Bayuquan Branch Company and has a significant meaning in developing medium- and high-carbon hot-rolled strip market.
