Ansteel Group Vanadium and Titanium (Iron and Steel) Research Institute announced that Pansteel of Ansteel Group succeeded in the industrial trial production of SEDDQ hot galvanized steel plate for the first time. The insiders said that this further improves the cold-rolled product structure of the company, consolidates the market share of galvanized steel plate and has a remarkable economic benefit and social benefit.

    It’s said that the trial production aims to meet the customized requirements of strategic customers. The requirement of customer for the comprehensive index of mechanical property is the highest in the production history of Pansteel hot galvanized steel plate of Ansteel Group. Since the start-up of 2# hot galvanized line of cold-rolled mill in Panzhihua Steel and Vanadium Company of Ansteel Group, SEDDQ hot galvanized steel plate with DX56D+Z higher has never been trial produced due to the restriction of the capacity and control precision level of continuous hot galvanized equipment. Based on the load and capacity of existing hot galvanized equipment, the company carried out a detailed investigation and analysis and determined composite system of micro-alloy IF steel and the process system of the key sequences, such as steelmaking, hot-rolled, cold-rolled and so on. Finally the mechanical property for the trial produced 500t testing steel fully met the requirement of DX57D+Z.

    The insiders said the industrial production of SEDDQ hot galvanized steel plate deeply developed the potential capacity of existing equipment, met customers’ individualized and high-standard demand and provided the reference and technical reserve for the development of cold-rolled steel plate with higher grades.
