Ansteel Group Continued to Rank AmongFortune 500 Largest Global Corporations

    On the evening, July 7, the list of 2014 Fortune 500 Largest Global Corporations was announced. Ansteel Group ranked the 475th place on it with the operating revenue of 25.231 billion dollars, forward 18 places than last year. Ansteel Group successively ranked among the list of 500 Largest Global Corporations for three years.

    In 2013, facing the severe market, the carders and employees of Ansteel Group actively fulfilled “Six Development Concepts”, stuck to relying on its own strength to conquer the difficulties, to fight for the enterprise survival, for enterprise reputation, for improving the employees’ salary and the status in their families, insisted on correct working concepts and direction and took effective measures to fully win the initial success of the battle for turning loss to profit with steel-like will.

   Ansteel Group stuck to the nine “dual tactics” which ensured the stable improvement of production and operation. Therefore, it continued to rank among Fortune 500 Largest Global Corporations. In 2013, Ansteel Group changed the ideas and at the same time reformed three aspects together with strengthening one aspect; established the governance structure of legal representatives of the group corporation and at the same time perfected the management and control structure of the group; helped the regional company make up deficits and at the same time took measures to stop the loss for the main loss-making enterprises etc. and realized the sound and fast development of the enterprise. In promoting reorganization, Ansteel formed the management and control structure of “regional subsidiaries + non-steel industry departments” led by the group corporation. In technical transformation, Ansteel relied on technical progress to optimize category structure and improve product quality. In strengthening management, Ansteel carried out management activities of cost target among all the employees, ensured all the employees undertake the index, face pressure and have motivation.    Fortune’s List of the 500 Largest Global Corporations is one of the most famous and authoritative list judging the strength of large-sized companies in the world and is issued by Fortune Magazine once a year. It’s said that the lowest operating revenue of 2014 Fortune 500 Largest Global Corporations is 23.7 billion dollars, 500 million dollars higher than last year.
