After winning China Industrial Award, Ansteel Slag Development Company was awarded another honor again ----- the Best Green Environmental Protection Enterprise in China. This was reported by the journalist from the Annual Conference on China Ecological Urban and Rural Scientific Development.

    Recently, the 2014 Annual Conference on China Ecological Urban and Rural Scientific Development was held in Beijing. By relying on developing recycling economy over years, especially the outstanding achievement in metallurgical slag treatment, Ansteel Slag Development Company became eminent among more than 300 participating enterprises and won the title of the Best Green Environmental Protection Enterprise in China, which was jointly issued by China Organization for the Promotion of International Economic Development, the Chinese Association of Productivity Science, China City and Rural Development Foundation. This is the full affirmation to the enterprise for its outstanding contribution to developing recycling economy and environment protection. Ansteel was the only enterprise to win the honor among domestic steel industry.
   
    Ansteel Slag Development Company is one of the largest professional enterprises in metallurgical slag comprehensive utilization in China. From 2006 to 2013, it accumulatively processed 18 million tons of metallurgical slag, produced 6.5 million tons of steel materials, 6.8 million tons of building products, saved 29 million tons of iron ore and limestone exploitation for our country, reduced 13 million tons of CO₂ emission, accumulatively realized the operating revenue of 2.6 billion yuan and 650 million yuan of profit in the past eight years and made outstanding contribution to environment protection in our country.
