Ansteel Group and CSR Signed Strategic and Cooperative Frame Agreement

    As the leading enterprises in respective fields, Ansteel Group and CSR Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as “CSR”) signed strategic and cooperative frame agreement yesterday. The two parties will carry out cooperation in railway vehicle purchasing, the production, utilization, R&D and application technology research for railway vehicle steel, the research and development of electrical product and system as well as the conversion application of water treatment products, establish strategic partnership with mutual support, mutual rely and common development and finally realize strong alliance, complementary strengths.

    Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Zhang Guangning, chairman of Ansteel Group Corporation and secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Yao Lin, a member of Standing Committee of Party Committee, vice-president of Ansteel Group Corporation, chairman of Pansteel and secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Yu Zisu, a member of Standing Committee of Party Committee and vice-president of Ansteel Group Corporation, Mr. Zheng Changhong, chairman of CSR and secretary of Party Committee and Vice-Chairman Wang Jun.

    CSR, the leading enterprise of railway transportation equipment manufacturing industry in China, has a complete system of independent development, batch manufacturing and standard service in railway high-speed CRH train, inter-city CRH train, locomotives and city railway transportation equipment. Its strong development and manufacturing strength, product level and operation scale have reached world advanced level. In 1978, Pansteel developed the first domestic Z-steel. Since then, it has established continuous and close cooperation with CSR. In recent years, the strategic cooperation between the two parties has had deep development. Every year CSR purchases about 50,000t steel products from Ansteel Group.
