At 20:00a.m., November 12, Beijing time, the 8th Virtual Steelmaking Challenge was raised its curtain in the world. 31 employees from Anshan and Panzhihua competed with more than 2000 participants from 41 different countries worldwide for the continuous cost of 24 hours in virtual network world.
 
Recently, the first round of results for the 8th Virtual Steelmaking Challenge was announced on the World Steel University website. Two teams respectively led by Shen Yongdai and Wang Dugang from Ansteel won the champion of East Asia-Oceanian enterprise group at the cost of 62.16 dollars per ton of steel. And the other eight groups of participants entered the top ten lists at the same time.
