On August 26, the expert forum with the theme of “Transformation, Upgrading, Development and Future” was held in Ansteel Group Corporation. More than 30 leaders, experts and scholars from the ministries of the state, industries, brother enterprises, downstream enterprises and institutions of higher learning made a deep discussions focusing on the theme and offered their suggestions for the transformation, upgrading and future development of Ansteel Group. This is an important measure for Ansteel to implement the spirit of “accelerating the transformation and upgrading of conventional industry” proposed by the Party’s Eighteenth National Congress, carry out “Four Activities”, drive forward the enterprise out of difficulties quickly and realize full revitalization.

The forum lasted one and a half days. At the forum on August 26, focusing on the subject of “Adapting to the changing steel market and accelerating industrial structural adjustment”, “Development strategy of steel industry” etc., Mr. Zhang Guobao, Mr. Yin Ruiyu, Mr. Wu Xichun, Mr. Liu Jie, Mr. Dong Qiang, Mr. Wang Xiaoqi, Mr. Bai Jianren delivered a keynote speech and proposed a lot of valuable suggestions for Ansteel’s transformation and upgrading. On the morning of August 27, the forum was divided into four sub-forums to make a full exchange and discussion. The four forums are expert team for enterprises, expert team for the transformation and upgrading of main steel business, expert team for the transformation and upgrading of resource development and expert team for the transformation and upgrading of non-steel industry.
